Manhattan Window Film From the Battery to Harlem
Most of our Manhattan work falls into three groups. Downtown, it is converted lofts and landmark cast-iron buildings in Tribeca and SoHo, plus towers in the Financial District and Battery Park City that face the harbor. In the middle of the island, Midtown and Hudson Yards are offices and glass towers where the landlord controls the facade. Uptown, the Upper East Side, Upper West Side and Harlem are co-ops, brownstones and historic districts where boards and the Landmarks Preservation Commission shape what goes on the glass.
Chelsea and Greenwich Village sit between those groups, with rowhouses, galleries and condos. Chelsea adds one problem nobody else has: a public park, the High Line, passing at window height.
Brooklyn and Queens Window Tinting on the East River and Beyond
Across the East River, Long Island City and Williamsburg have waterfront towers that face west at Manhattan and take the evening sun. DUMBO's warehouse lofts sit under the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges. Downtown Brooklyn has new towers built close together, and Brooklyn Heights and Park Slope are landmarked rowhouse neighborhoods with very different exposures, one over the harbor and one along Prospect Park.
Further into Queens, Astoria mixes two-family houses with apartments beside the 31st Street train line, and Forest Hills ranges from the Tudor houses of Forest Hills Gardens to co-ops on Queens Boulevard.
Riverdale and Window Film Jobs Outside Our Listed Neighborhoods
In the Bronx, we cover Riverdale and Fieldston, where houses and co-op towers look west across the Hudson at the Palisades. The neighborhoods on this page are where most of our work happens, but they are not a hard boundary.
If your home or business is elsewhere in the five boroughs, send the address with your quote request. We will tell you honestly whether we can take the job and on what schedule.
How Window Film Installation Works in NYC Buildings
New York installs come with logistics that suburban jobs do not. Co-ops, condos and office buildings usually want a certificate of insurance naming the building and its managing agent before we arrive. Many restrict contractor work to set hours and require the service elevator to be booked. Street parking for a work van is never guaranteed, so we plan arrival times around loading zones and building rules.
We handle that paperwork as part of the quote. Tell us the building's requirements when you first get in touch, and we will build them into the schedule.
- Certificate of insurance in the form your building requests
- Product data sheets for boards, landlords and LPC conversations
- Installs booked within permitted work hours
- Service elevator and loading dock reservations planned in advance

Questions About Where We Install Window Film in NYC
Do you install window film on Staten Island or in neighborhoods not listed here?
Send the address with your request. The listed neighborhoods are where most of our work is, and we will tell you whether we can schedule a job elsewhere in the city.
Do you handle co-op and condo paperwork in every borough?
Yes. Board requirements are similar across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx: a scope, film data and a certificate of insurance. We prepare those for any building we work in.
Can you work in landmarked buildings anywhere in NYC?
Yes. We recommend clear, low-reflectance films for street-facing glass in historic districts and suggest checking with LPC before using anything frosted, tinted or mirrored on a facade.
Is there a travel charge for outer-borough jobs?
Pricing depends on the job itself: glass area, film type, access and building rules. If location affects a quote, we will say so clearly in the price we send you.
